The Command Center Console for Law Enforcement, Public Safety, and Fleet vehicles is modular with components available separately for maximum flexibility.  Tuffy engineers paid careful attention to comfort, convenience, durability, and security knowing how much time is spent in the vehicle using the console. All Communications Console components are constructed in the U.S.A. from precision CNC cut and formed steel. 
    The lockable security console features a comfortable 2" thick full length padded arm rest, removable storage tray and lid support gas strut.  Tuffy's 1/4" thick patented Pry-Guard II latching system secures the lid shut. 
    The front electronics console equipment mounting area provides 12" of face plate mounting capacity allowing for any combination of face plate mounting systems, sold separately. The mounting area is angled for easy viewing and operation of radios and controls. The electronics console includes 4 weather resistant marine grade power ports with caps (Accepts up to 8).  Tuffy's face plates are available for all the most popular electronic communications equipment, digital radios, light and siren controllers, switches, and power supplies. All applicable face plates include an ergonomic Mic holder bracket, also available separately.     The drink holder assembly features two oversized drink holders (One 3 1/2" & One 4 1/4") with anti-rattle drink fingers, a convenient storage tray and small flashlight and pen holders. 
    Accessories such as document holders that mount to the front and rear of the console, map lights, and custom accessory mounting brackets are also available.
    A variety of vehicle specific mounting systems are available for easy and flexible installation, typically without the need to drill. These include a base plate and brackets fastened to OEM seat mounts for standard kits.  Combinations of consoles and/or accessories can be mounted to the baseplate in the customer's preferred order.
