Product Description

This heavy duty locking security cubby cover covers the existing plastic OEM behind the rear seat cubby. Constructed from 16 gauge and 1/8” thick welded steel, it creates a secure storage area behind the Double Cab's rear seat, which is ideal for securing valuable tools and gear.

The unique design features our Pry-Guard locking system with 1/8” thick steel components and a welded continuous steel hinge. The cover is easy to install using standard hand tools in just a few minutes. The cover allows the use of the OEM Child Seat retention point while the Security Cubby Cover is installed. A filler plate is provided for those individuals who do not choose to take advantage of this OEM feature.

This does not fit correctly in my 2009 Tacoma double cab. It has a huge gap in the bottom right side because the lock box does not fit the contour of the vehicle. The gap is so big I can get three fingers though it. Making this box useless. I don’t know if all 2nd gens are the same but if they are. This lock box does not fit
